Guidance, not a guarantee

Fernfriend gives plant care guidance generated with AI models. Identifications, rhythms, and sick-leaf readings are likely readings, not certainties, and may be wrong. You are responsible for decisions about your plants. For a precious or valuable plant, confirm with a local nursery. Pet-toxicity flags are informational and are not veterinary advice; if a pet may have eaten a plant, contact a veterinarian.

Your account

Keep your login secure and give accurate information. You must be at least 13 years old. You own the photos and notes you add; you give us a license to process them only to provide the service.

Plans and billing

Paid plans are billed in US dollars, monthly or annually, through Stripe, and renew until canceled. Cancel anytime; paid features continue until the end of the period. Taxes may be added where required. We will give at least 30 days' notice of a price change.

Acceptable use

• Do not misuse the demo or the API, attempt to bypass limits, or upload content you do not have rights to.
• Do not upload photos of people or anything unlawful.

Liability

The service is provided as is. To the extent the law allows, Fernfriend Inc. is not liable for indirect damages, including the loss of plants, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the past 12 months.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Washington, with venue in King County, except where your local consumer law says otherwise.
